    • A lively programme of talks and outings

    • Use of the Benefactors' Room at Norwich Castle – a great place to relax

    • A bi-annual newsletter posted to your door

    • Regular mailings from Norfolk Museums Service with all the latest news and events

    • Opportunities to volunteer in the museums

    • 10% discount on admission to NMS sites across the county

    • 10% discount in the cafés at Norwich Castle and Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse

Many of the wonderful treasures on display in the Norwich Museums have been purchased by the Friends, whose loyalty and commitment has also helped to secure major funding from national organisations like the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The Friends get involved in many aspects of museum life. They have created a garden at Strangers' Hall, provided facilities for disabled people and acquired equipment for education, conservation and display.
