The museums is now accessible to everyone!
We now have an accessible entrance, lifts to the upper floors and level access around the bulding. There are also new accessible toilet facilities. The museum has various multi-sensory displays with handling items, listening points and smell stations.
Tailor-made sessions for groups of people with disabilities can be arranged. Please contact Hannah Henderson, Curator of Community History, to discuss your group’s requirements and interests. Handling collections can also be made available for hands-on sessions.
If you would like to speak to someone about general access issues within the museum, please call 01603 629127 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
