All public galleries and spaces are fully accessible. A lift connects the ground and first floor of the museum. Carers are not charged admission. Assistance dogs are welcome.
In the event of a fire, the lift at Cromer Museum cannot be used. We advise that in the event of an emergency evacuation, only those comfortable with the possibility of a negotiated descent of the stairs should use the rooms situated on the first floor of the Museum. This includes the museum’s Education Room. For those visitors unable to use the upper floors it is possible to view details of collections on display there.

Congratulations! we have come from France and discovered Cromer with your museum.
A friend and I dressed up and posed as Victorians in the bedroom. We scared her Mum.
