Maritime Heritage East
Maritime Heritage East (MHE) is a unique programme running across the East of England, to establish and develop the position and importance of maritime history, both within the region and nationally.
Housed in former fisherman’s cottages, Cromer museum holds collections of seaside and fishing histories of Cromer with an additional geology gallery exhibiting important fossils collected from local cliffs and the beach. The museum has significant links with the coastal communities of Norfolk and it is these communities that MHE will be working with on an exciting new project to collect oral history recordings and films of life on the coast.

Congratulations! we have come from France and discovered Cromer with your museum.
A friend and I dressed up and posed as Victorians in the bedroom. We scared her Mum.
