Cycling Clubs

The Mardlers' Rest Café is a great place to stop for refreshments if you're out and about on a cycle ride, with a wide range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and meals.

We have a covered cycle shed adjacent to the main car park and offer free admission to both the museum shop and Mardlers' Rest Café.

For larger cycle groups and clubs, you may wish to pre-book part of the café courtyard so that you can keep your bikes together.

To reserve this space please telephone the museum shop on 01362 869269, at least one hour prior to arrival.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this facility (or free admission) on any of our event days. Please see the events calendar for forthcoming dates.

All Aboard for the Workhouse

The day out package ‘All Aboard for the Workhouse’ is run in conjunction with Mid Norfolk Railway.

This great day out invites your group to travel in style and explore a restored Victorian railway station and visit Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse.
