Now Recruiting! Heritage Learning Traineeship
Fixed Term Contract for 10 months to start April/May 2014
This ten month traineeship offers an exciting opportunity to develop the skills and understanding needed to pursue a career in learning in the heritage sector. The post is part time at 29.6 hours per week (4 days) with a salary of up to £12,140 pro (£8,093 for 4 days per week for 10 months).
You will work as part of a successful learning team at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse helping to deliver high quality schools learning events to young people of all ages and abilities. You will also assist with the museum’s informal learning programme. The internship provides opportunities for training and off-site observation.
You will be an enthusiastic and excellent communicator who is able to work with others and on your own initiative. You will have an interest in museums and heritage and a commitment to helping young people to learn. No professional qualifications are necessary but some experience of working with children or young people is essential.
