How You Can Help

In the first phase of the project we are looking at how working life in Great Yarmouth has changed during the last 60 years.

We are particularly interested in talking to people who have experienced the following industries, either in the past or the present day.

In the second phase of the project we will talk to people about leisure and popular culture. We are interested in how people spent their leisure time, and its changes in recent years, including:

In the final stage of the project we will talk to people about home and family life in the local community, and how this has changed, in the following areas.

If you have memories or experiences in these three areas that you would like to share with us, then we want to hear from you.

We are also looking for volunteers to join our research team. If you have some spare time, are interested in local history and enjoy meeting and talking to people, then please contact us for more information.
