Isabella Rosner, author and curator of the Royal School of Needlework, will be in conversation with Ruth Battersby Senior Curator of Costumes and Textiles at Norfolk Museums' Service. They both bring a wealth of knowledge and interest in the embroidery of Lorina Bulwer. Lorina stitched incredible letters and patchwork during her time as an inmate at Great Yarmouth Workhouse. Come along to hear more about her work and the insights provided by the research of both Isabella and Ruth, including links to a broader context of stitch in carceral institutions and wider needlework traditions.

Stop by and chat with writer Daisy Henwood about your favourite museum objects. Let her know what you think should get more attention, which stories interest you, and which objects you'd like her to use to inspire some poems about Great Yarmouth's history. This drop-in is part of FOUND, an art and poetry project using objects and texts from Norfolk Museums to uncover and celebrate hidden or ignored elements of the county's heritage.
