Ancient House has a digital learning offer for interactive virtual museum visits. We can offer many other workshops online to suit the ages, abilities, or activity requirements of the group to create a bespoke museum experience. ‘Quiz a Character’ webinars

30-minute sessions run via Zoom or similar

Each session includes a 10-minute introductory video to the topic, followed by a twenty-minute Question and Answer session hosted live by a historical character of your choice.

Prices start from £35.

The following themes are currently available:

  • Romans (domestic or military life)
  • Medieval pilgrimage
  • Tudors
  • Witchcraft during the Civil War era
  • The Great Fire of London
  • Victorian life
  • Life in the household of the Maharajah Duleep Singh
  • Egyptian archaeology in the 1920s
  • The first Mayoress of King’s Lynn
  • The campaign for women’s suffrage including the role of the Duleep Singh Princesses
  • The work of WW1 Munitionettes
  • Women in WW2

Storytime Webinars

30-minute sessions run via Zoom or similar

Each session includes a 10-15 minute reading of a short story, plus a 10 minute simple craft tutorial, led by the Museum’s learning team. The crafts are designed to be easy to complete with household

materials and lists of resources will be provided in advance. There will also be time at the end for questions or live discussion.

Prices start from £35.
