Access facilities

The ground floor, shop, garden and toilet are accessible to wheelchair users. The museum has audio guides.   

Carers 

If you will be visiting with a carer, they will be admitted to the museum free of charge.  

Assistance dogs 

Assistance dogs are very welcome. Ask for a bowl of water at the reception desk.  

Facilities for people with impaired hearing and sight 

If you would like access information in any other format such as Braille, large print, audio cassette, or CD, email us at ancient.house.museum@norfolk.gov.uk or call us on 01842 752599. Interpretation notes are available for the companions of blind and visually impaired visitors so you all get the most from your visit.   

Accessible toilets 

There are wheel/pushchair accessible toilets along with baby changing facilities on the ground floor of the museum.
