Bedcover; blue velvet surround to panels, motifs of various objects found in everyday living in a house and in various strong colours appliqued on to ground and then surrounded in gold, long stem stitch all over; some motifs embroidered, some worked in canvas stitch; blue bobble trimmed braid edging; yellow quilted cotton lining; made by Herbert Bellamy and Charlotte Alice Springall of Great Yarmouth, during their engagement; It illustrates memorabilia and interests in their lives; panels made first, motifs applied using blanket stitch, some of velvet motifs bleached? to give range of colours
