Deep History Coast

Turn your pupils into fossil mad enthusiasts by taking part in our exciting Deep History Coast Discovery event.

Pupils will use authentic tools to search for fossils before exploring our incredible geology gallery. We can even take your class on a guided fossil hunt on the rich Cromer beach. Call our school booking line on 01493 743944 to register your interest!

Survivors

Suitable for KS2 - free of charge

Set between Cromer Museum & the RNLI Henry Blogg Museum, this is the latest event to come from the Stories from the Sea project aimed at developing and inspiring your young writers.

Based on the dramatic sinking of the SS Cantabria by Spanish War ships off the coast of Cromer in 1938, this fantastic interactive event allows children to be immersed in what happened and reflect on the lives of those affected.

“All the children loved it” (teacher, Northrepps Primary)

“I like stories from a long time ago” (pupil, Silverstone Primary)

Seaside Special

£3.50 per pupil; half-day event.

Our class 'Seaside Special' workshop is guaranteed to bring this fascinating topic to life for your pupils as they travel back in time to find out about Cromer holidays in the past!

Pupils will meet a time travelling Victorian holidaymaker or watch a traditional Punch and Judy show. Finally, children create their own souvenir to take back home at the end of the day!
