As we run up to the 80th anniversary of VJ daythis coming weekend join us to explore the lives of the people living in the town through WWII Don't forget to bring your ration book

Join us to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in the Far East. Meet costumed characters, handle real artefacts from the era, and fold a crane to make a hope for peace.

Learn how to make your own Star Wars-themed peg doll in a 1-hour workshop and take home your creation! Workshops are designed for children aged 8 and over. Available workshop slots: 10-11am 11.30am-12.30pm 1-2pm 3-4pm £5 per child, accompanying adults free. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Younger siblings are welcome to attend but cannot participate in the workshop.

Join us at 11amd and 2pm for a guided tour of the museum by our fabulous Visitor Team This tour will focus on the imapct that the World Wars had on Great Yarmouth and shaped the town we have today Available on a first come first served basis

Join our drop in automton workshop and learn how to creat moving works of art from a curious box of components.

Use your archaeological skills to explore a recreated archaeological excavation. Handle real historical artefacts and meet Viking costumed characters. Part of The Brecks Outdoor Festival.

Join us at 11am and 2pm for a free tour of the museum by our fabulous Visitor Team, focusing on our gorious Golden Mile Avaialble on a first come first served basis.
