To mark the 80th anniversary year of VE and VJ Day, the whole family are invited to get hands on with history at Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse's special bank holiday event. Step into this historic moment with help of costumed characters, immersive storytelling and activities. Enjoy family-friendly activities, and see Station 366 perform American swing songs from the period, and a special performance of Letters from the Land. Learn what was really going on for local folks in 1945, and explore cutting edge research into people's experiences, with a poetry trail, talks and screenings from local East Anglian partners including the American Library and the Suffolk Women's Land Army Memorial Trust.
