With such a wide variety of things to see and do, Gressenhall is an ideal place for group visits. There are discounts for groups and there are also exclusive opportunities to meet and hear stories and presentations from our interpreters.
There is a discounted rate available for pre-booked groups of 10 people or more.
Pay on the day of the visit by cash, credit card or cheque made payable to ‘Norfolk County Council’. Group organisers should pay for all individuals in the group and to liaise with reception staff on arrival.
If you need to cancel your booking, please give us 14 days’ notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
Travel and parking
There is ample space for parking coaches in the museum car park.
Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse offers very high standards of access for visitors with disabilities. Indicate any specific requirements your party may have when booking your visit. More about access facilities.
The Mardlers’ Rest Café provides the perfect place to take a break, and get together for fine locally produced food and home made cakes.
The Mardlers' Rest Café is a great place to stop for refreshments if you're out on a cycle ride. We have a covered cycle shed adjacent to the main car park and offer free admission to both the museum shop and Mardlers' Rest Café.
For larger cycle groups and clubs, you may wish to pre-book part of the café courtyard so that you can keep your bikes together. To reserve this space please telephone the museum shop on 01362 869269, at least one hour prior to arrival. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this facility (or free admission) on any of our event days. Please see the events calendar for forthcoming dates.
