Weddings at Gressenhall

Set in the heart of Norfolk countryside, Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse offers a unique venue licensed for your marriage or civil partnership ceremony.

With its Georgian symmetry and distinctive red brick façade, the main building was constructed in 1776 as a House of Industry, to tend to the poor of the local parishes. Over the centuries Gressenhall has evolved, becoming a Victorian workhouse and later a home for the elderly. Today, it is the museum of rural Norfolk life and workhouse history. It is a beautiful and unique venue for your special day.

Say ‘I do’ surrounded by history.

Gather your close family and friends to join you to celebrate your day. Licensed for marriage or civil partnership ceremonies for up to 100 guests, the Old Chapel offers an intimate setting with decorative brick patterning, high leaded windows and wooden pews.
