Gressenhall Environment Hub

People outside at Gressenhall

The Hub is the centre for education, training and events run by Norfolk Museums Service and our partners. We share learning, expertise and advice to inspire individual and collective action to address environmental issues. The Hub consists of a suite of newly refurbished meeting spaces, and a dedicated learning officer is based here delivering our schools and community engagement programme.

Gressenhall Community Tree Nursery

The Tree Nursery is located on the farm, and contributes to Norfolk County Council's planting pledge, 1 Million Trees for Norfolk. To buy trees from the nursery or find out more about volunteering opportunities, contact: tree.project@norfolk.gov.uk.

The Wendling Beck Environment Project

We are partners in the nationally significant Wendling Beck Environment Project, which is a pioneering habitat creation, nature restoration and regenerative farming project, on 2,000 acres of land adjacent to the museum. Find out more about The Wendling Beck Environment Project.

Schools programme

Our specially devised schools programme of workshops explore environmental issues such as land use, farming and the climate crisis, through the lens of history. Read more information about our schools programme.
