Gressenhall goes wild

Bank Holiday Monday 2 April 10am - 5pm

Become a nature detective and discover Gressenhall’s wild side this Bank Holiday Monday.

Find out more about the animals and insects that call Gressenhall home and join Vicky from Wild4 for family woodland exploration, messy fun and natural crafts. Play among the trees and keep an eye out for useful leaves and twigs to create your own woodland beastie.

Meet local nature detective Stuart Burgess, find out what likes to live in leaf litter and discover what the tadpoles, backswimmers and other pond life are up to this springtime. Look inside the butterfly and moth enclosure, see the spiders and their web of flies and make your own spider web. Use a sweep net to explore what makes its home in the long grass of the orchard.

Get creative with lots of nature inspired things to see and do. The site is bursting with new life – what will you discover?

Please note we do not allow dogs, other than assistance dogs, on site. We would also strongly recommend that animals are not left in locked cars.
