Saturday Art Lab
Join us for Saturday Art Lab, a brand-new series of online and in-person art workshops at Norwich Castle!
In the Art Lab, you will get to experiment with different materials, discover new skills by taking part in masterclasses with professional artists, designers and craftspeople, and draw inspiration from thousands of years of art and heritage.
Each workshop is inspired by a different collection of objects from the Castle Museum. So far, we’ve experimented with stitching craftivist messages inspired by a Victorian workhouse inmate’s embroidered letters and have learned how to make our own illuminated medieval-style manuscripts through print making and book binding.
