Online learning events and resources from Lynn Museum
We offer the following online events and resources to groups and classes of all ages who are unable to visit the museum in person.
Below is an overview of some of our most popular activities, however we can offer many other workshops online to suit the ages, abilities, or activity requirements of the group to create a bespoke museum experience. The Highlights Tour at Lynn Museum
30-minute sessions run via Zoom.
Each tour features a 20-minute video exploring a selection of the museum's most popular artefacts, with chance for a Question and Answer session with a member of staff at the end.
Prices start from £35.
'Quiz a Character' Webinars
30-minute sessions run via Zoom.
Each session includes a 10-minute introductory video to the topic, followed by a twenty-minute Question and Answer session hosted live by a historical character of your choice.
Prices start from £35.

- Ancient Romans (domestic or military life)
- Medieval pilgrimage
- Tudor housekeeping
- Witchcraft during the Civil War era
- The Great Fire of London
- Victorian life
- Life in the household of the Maharajah Duleep Singh
- Egyptian archaeology in the 1920s
- The first Mayoress of King's Lynn
- The campaign for women's suffrage
- The work of WW1 Munitionettes
- Women in WW2
Storytime Webinars
30-minute sessions run via Zoom.
Each session includes a 10-15 minute reading of a short story, plus a 10 minute simple craft tutorial, led by the Museum's learning team. The crafts are designed to be easy to complete with
household materials and lists of resources will be provided in advance. There will also be time at the end for questions or live discussion.
