Access facilities at Lynn Museum

Admission prices

Concession tickets are available for disabled visitors. You can bring a carer in with your free of charge.

Parking

There is no disabled parking at the museum. There is a drop-off point in the bus station, which is next to the museum.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome at Lynn Museum.

Please ask the staff at reception for a bowl of water for your dog.

Accessible toilets

There are accessible toilets located off the main gallery.

Getting around the museum

The entrance to Lynn Museum is from King's Lynn bus station. The entrance door is automatic.

The museum galleries are on the ground floor, and are fully accessible. There is smooth or ramped access between the galleries.

A variety of flooring types are used including vinyl, carpet and parquet flooring. Low level lighing is used in some areas.

There are chairs in the reception and galleries.

Visitors with visual impairment

Ambient noise plays in both the Seahenge gallery and main gallery.

There are some objects and displays which you are welcome to touch or handle. These are items not within cases or behind barriers.

Large print guides for the permanent displays are available.

If booked in advance a member of staff would be happy to offer an audio-described tour. Please contact us to arrange this.
