Out of the Closet Tours - Friday 22 February

Following the success of the recent exhibition 'Pride of the People: Helping History out of the Closet' at Ancient House Museum, Thetford, Teenage History Club are leading tours at Lynn Museum.

Teenage History Club will highlight items in the collection, relating to Queer History. 

Tours will take place at 2pm and 3.30pm. No need to book, just come along.

Discovery Thursdays

On Thursdays during the school holidays, drop in between 10am and 1pm for a mixture of history, crafts and science for families to enjoy.  You might meet costumed characters, handle historic objects or find craft activities to do.  Activities are included with museum admission.

1940s - 21 February 

Meet characters and take part in activities all based on life during 1940s.  Free admission

Egyptians - 11 April

Join the team for all things Egyptian. There will be crafts, games, object handling & food sessions to take part in. Activities included in museum admission price. No booking necessary, just drop in.

Fairground Animals with Isabelle King - 30 May

Let's celebrate the brilliant fairground history of King's Lynn! Take part in a variety of activities focused on fairground animals. Isabelle noted Norfolk children's author, will be reading from her brand new book 'Once Upon a Street: Norfolk Stories for Children' which includes stories based on Frederick Savage's fairground rides. Activities and storytelling included in museum admission price.
