Group visits

There is a discounted rate available for pre-booked groups of 10 people or more.

The Museum of Norwich is a delightful attraction for groups, whether you have a specialist interest or you’re simply looking for an enjoyable, relaxing and inspiring day out together. At the heart of the museum are the stories of Norwich people. Sometimes ordinary and sometimes extraordinary, they all helped to create our modern city.

The museum is packed full of wonderful objects. Some were pioneering, including the world's first machine for knitting wire netting, a chocolate enrobing machine and a head-measuring device for the most expensive caps in the world. Others are technologically brilliant, like the Colman’s steam fire-engine, a restored Jacquard loom, world-class Norwich shawls and over 200 locally made shoes.

Our friendly front of house team will ensure you have a great experience from picking up the phone to book to when you climb back onto the coach at the end of the day. Your key contact is our Bookings Coordinator on and 01603 493636.

Pay on the day of the visit by cash, credit card or cheque made payable to ‘Norfolk County Council’. Group organisers should pay for all individuals in the group and liaise with reception staff on arrival.

If you need to cancel your booking, please give us 21 days’ notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
