Medieval Family Adventure Kits

Created as part of the Norwich Castle: Royal Palace Reborn project, these kit bags contain a selection of items to add a little Medieval sparkle to a self-guided journey around the museum with your EYFS group. Explore the galleries with a little help from some Medieval families!

What’s inside?

  • A copy of I See a Family: a special Medieval story book for Norwich
  • A ‘poppet’ doll: a Medieval character who would love for your group to show them around the galleries
  • A sensory item: a little something the Medieval poppet has brought with them from the workshop where they were made to share with you and help you explore the galleries

The kits are free to borrow but must be booked in advance, along with your self-guided visit. To book your visit and check availability of the kits, please contact 01603 493636 or norwichcastle.bookings@norfolk.gov.uk.
