The event

This event brings the Medicine Through Time syllabus to life as students discover how medicine has changed from Medieval times to the present day. Meet costumed characters from the Medieval, Renaissance, Industrial and Modern periods, and handle original objects from the museum's own collection plus items donated by Holt Medical Practice and The Castle Partnership.

Suitable for all GCSE exam boards except OCR B SHP.

Aims and outcomes

• Examine real and replica objects to see and feel how medicine changed from Medieval times to the present day.
