Tickets are available on arrival and you can book your tickets in advance online. We would recommend booking in advance during busier periods.

What to expect when you visit
Construction work has begun on the exciting Norwich Castle: Royal Palace Reborn project to transform the medieval Castle.
Combined with health and safety measures to protect visitors and staff, this means some areas of the Castle site are not accessible. This includes the original medieval Castle, dungeons and battlements, and the Anglo Saxon and Viking Gallery.
The Norwich café and shop are also closed, but we have a pop-up catering and retail offer in their place. You can still enjoy our beautiful Art Galleries, Natural History Galleries, Decorative Arts gallery, Royal Norfolk Regimental collections and temporary exhibitions.
