Mission, vision and values

Children in costume being led through a field by an adult

Norfolk Museums Service is a multi-award-winning service comprising of:

  • Ten museums across the county
  • A study centre

It is a partnership between Norfolk County Council and Norfolk's district councils. Since April 2018 we have been an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, tasked with providing leadership to the sector. We have received major investment across a number of projects from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
