On the Beach - Dementia friendly performance by Spare Tyre Theatre

On The Beach is an intimate and interactive sensory experience for 6 - 8 people living with dementia and their carers, created by participatory theatre company Spare Tyre. Join us for a day in the life of a working beach, as we explore its myths, magic, perils and ever-changing beauty through dance, music and visual storytelling. After the performance 11.30am -12.30pm, there is also the opportunity to take part in a creative workshop giving participants, family members and carers the opportunity to contribute to the visual and tactile world of the show, 2.30-3.30pm. All tickets are for one adult living with dementia and include a carer. You can book for either the talk or the workshop separately, or for both. To make this event more accessible we are trialling a sliding pay scale for ticketing with a suggested price, a higher and lower option so that you can pay what you can afford.
