Join us as we celebrate the Museum of Norwich's 100th birthday with a summer full of family fun. Make a finger puppet inspired by a famous Norwich character, follow our trail to uncover stories from the city's past, or step back in time by dressing up in 1920s fashion, striking a pose and trying out some flapper dance moves.
On Tuesdays, meet a member of the Learning Team, get hands-on with fascinating fashion items from the 1920s and add your ideas to a giant community collage designed by Norwich artist Pinch, imagining what Norwich and its museum might look like 100 years from now.
Activities run from Saturday 18 July to Wednesday 2 September, 10:00-16:30. The museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Please note: object-handling sessions and the community collage activity take place on Tuesdays only, from 10:30-12:30 and 13:30-15:30.
The summer family activities are generously funded by the Freemen of Norwich.
