Welcome to the Court of King Henry I at Norwich Castle! Step into Norwich Castle and discover what it takes to live, work and play at court. Meet a knight and a squire and explore medieval arms and armour. Learn about the noble art of falconry with Queen Adeliza and make your own flappy falcon to take home. Help the steward prepare the Keep for a grand feast by cooking, cleaning and completing important castle tasks. Don't forget to follow our trail through the Gallery of Medieval Life, discovering objects linked to life at court. There's something for every young courtier to enjoy! Staff-led activities run from Saturday 18 July to Wednesday 2 September, 10am-3pm, except Sundays. On Sundays, visitors can still enjoy our self-led activities from 10am-5pm. Please note: staff-led activities pause for lunch between 12.15pm and 1pm.
